This thing is paper thin and no it wasn't vacuum sealed. I tried to fluff it up with no success. It's such a bummer bc I had this exact pillow 8 years ago with my first pregnancy and loved it. Obviously quality has gone way down. I will be returning.
Bought this at the beginning of my pregnancy because I knew I would be needing it. The pictures are deceiving. It is a very flat pregnancy pillow. I ended up throwing it away and borrowing one from a family member to use the rest of my pregnancy.
I read a lot of reviews before choosing and purchasing a body pillow to help with shoulder and knee support. This pillow is flat in places, especially at the top. I’ve tried using a second pillow for my head but haven’t been able to get everything adjusted right. Most nights I just use my 20 year old body pillow but keep thinking that I may try to add some stuffing to this one and see if that will correct the problem.
You get what you pay for. This pillow is not as thick as the picture & doesn’t give as much support as pictures shows. However, it still is a bit supportive & I’m still glad I have it while pregnant. It has helped me sleep on my side a little easier (I’m not a side sleeper). It gives a decent cushion to my thighs and belly. It is hard if you move a lot through the night as you have to adjust the pillow, but that is true of any body pillow. If you can afford a more quality pillow, buy that; not this one.But if you can’t afford a higher end pillow, this one was good enough for me.
I am a bit bummed out at this point and don't know what to do. I was soooo excited to get this pillow and very pleased with the size and fluff of it. It could be a very comfy pillow... My problem is that even after washing the cover, it just makes me itch. I used my regular, every day detergent that I have always used with no problems on my laundry, clothing and bedding. But this pillow just makes my skin crawl and itch wherever I am touching it (between thighs, even my neck and cheek, if my bare arm touches it) and I noticed between my thighs, i started to get a small rashy area after attempting to use it. I literally have to throw it off the bed. I have tried 3 nights now, after washing the cover twice. None of my other pillows or blankets bother me this way. I have no idea what it is and I am so bummed as not only did i WANT this pillow for comfort, but I feel i am out almost 40 bucks, as I don't feel right returning it after attempting to sleep with it and washing it. Blah. I'm a sad pregnant lady.
